MyPlay Description

Very simple music playing service MyPlay is a simple music player created for personal use. It is implemented as a D-BUS service utilizing GStreamer framework to do actual playing. MyPlay provides a D-BUS interface to modify playlist and control playing.Developer commentsI didn't like two things about the current approach of music players:* Music Library* GUI application Regarding first, I just like my music sorted in filesystem folders following my own pattern. And regarding second, I often like to listen to music as background when I'm working and I don't want a music player to distract me with its windows, dock icons, notifications, etc.I also made a simple GTK+-based interface which can be safely closed after you made modifications to playlist and started/stopped playing. Requirements: · gtk+ · D-BUS · GStreamer What's New in This Release: · Disable play button in GUI when playlist is empty. · When playing, automatically set first track to current if it's unset. · Don't play last track if current is unset, do nothing instead. · Misc code fixes.
