Batman Look Settings and Style Description

A dark theme for your GNOME desktop Batman Look Settings and Style is a dark GTK theme for GNOME.Developer commentsYou will need the following from gnome-look: BlackWinterhttp://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/BlackWinter?content=93150From Compiz Themes you will need: Dark Emeraldhttp://www.compiz-themes.org/content/show.php/Dark+Emerald?content=61176&PHPSESSID=5ec344ab85aba867718cd5dfa76801a8Then you can use the items in the archive I created. The look is nice when it all comes together. I still want to do the icons a bit more and I am trying to get a usplash screen for Jaunty to compile (never could get that to work for me) and want to figure out how to make the cursor theme to be the system default but that's going to take a bit of research to hand edit some files. Other than those minor things its fairly complete. How to install?· Right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background· Click on the first tab: Theme· Drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window.· If everything is OK, you will receive a confirmation message and you can activate the theme just by clicking on it.About GNOME:GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software. This goal includes creating software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on the programs which manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris. The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, though this acronym is deprecated. The GNOME project puts heavy emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things “just work”. Requirements: · gtk+ · GNOME
