This add-on will open the File Browser at the right location, using simple filters on the downloaded file Automatic Save Folder is a Firefox extension that allow you to specify where each file you are downloading will be saved too.If you are using the Firefox option "Save the files in this folder", the file will be saved automatically to that location.If you are using the Firefox option "Always ask where to save the files", Firefox will show you suggested path location choices to save your file to.To specify the location, set filters according to filename and/or domain, for example :If you want all your executable files .exe to be saved in a specific folder:- domain: all- filter: .exe- folder: your executable files folderNow if you want all the files from a particular website (mozilla.org for example) to be saved in a Mozilla folder:- domain: mozilla.org- filter: all- folder: your Mozilla folderThen, if you need to sort all zipped file type .zip from mozilla.org, and leaves other files from mozilla.org in the previous folder:- domain: mozilla- filter: .zip- folder: your Mozilla folder for .zip filesAnd place this filter above the previous one./! Do remember the filters are verified from top to bottom.And last, you can define filters with more complete name, not only with the file extension:- domain: all- filter: firefox*pre*.exe- folder: your folder for all version of Firefox nightly builds Requirements: · Mozilla Firefox What's New in This Release: · Added the version number in the main config window title. · Add option to double click a Path field to open the explorer window. · New tabs to separate filters, options, help and versions history. · New dynamic variable to create folders.
